DBSA Wichita's schedule for in-person and online meetings has changed. Please review our updated Calendar.

DBSA Wichita Home

DBSA Wichita Support Group is part of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and a subsidiary of DBSA Overland Park Chapter. We offer free peer-run support group meetings every Thursday evening from 6:30 – 8:00 pm CDT.

DBSA Wichita meetings are open discussions about mood disorders with a focus on depression and bipolar disorder.  Our group is led by and created for peers (individuals living with mood disorders and their friends and/or loved ones). Since we aren’t under the direction of credentialed professionals we don’t give advice. Rather, we share lived experiences and strategies that have helped us cope. That’s why our tagline is:

“We’ve been there.
We can help.”

Our group is currently splitting our meeting schedule between in-person and online gatherings. While we make this transition we ask that you please refer to our updated Calendar to confirm where our weekly meeting is taking place before attempting to join us. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to Contact us. Thank you for your patience.

Our online meetings take place over Zoom. We keep our meeting link private to help protect the confidentiality of our participants. If you are interested in joining us for an online meeting please contact us ahead of time (before 5pm the day of the meeting if possible).

Our in-person meetings are held at our meeting space at Riverwalk Church of Christ in downtown Wichita, KS. (While the folks at the church are kind enough to offer us a place to meet it is worth noting that our group is not affiliated with any church or religious group. We welcome people of any or no faith.)  Please follow the directions below to find our room:

Come to door #6 on the West side of the building (the side that faces the river). There will be a DBSA sign on the door. Once inside follow the posted signs with arrows directing you to our room.
